Redefining the Hire Experience with Smart, Branded UX
As lead UI/UX designer on the Move Yourself eKiosk system, I collaborated closely with developers and the CEO to reimagine the trailer hire process into a fast, intuitive, and mobile-first experience.
Together, we reduced the user journey from 18 to 12 streamlined screens, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency. I designed a completely new interface guided by the existing corporate style guide—leveraging bold, high-contrast visuals, brand-aligned iconography, and intuitive navigation.
UX Reduction:
Cut steps in the hire process by 33% while improving usability.Brand-First Interface Design:
Created a visual language based on the Calibri typographic system and high-impact black/yellow styling.Trailer Visualisation:
Rendered accurate, high-res 3D images from AutoCAD files to improve confidence in product selection.Iconography & Interaction:
Developed custom icon sets to support intuitive, tap-based navigation.Eco-Forward UX:
Designed for a contactless, paper-free solution via QR-activated browser-based kiosk UI.The project was built with Tailwind CSS and React, delivering a polished user interface that balances brand visibility, device accessibility, and security.
This is more than just a kiosk—it’s a scalable, smart hire assistant that lives in your pocket.
